Fraser Island accommodation. A secluded beach house with extraordinary views overlooking Orchid Beach

K'Gari's open plan design and expansive deck areas create a spacious atmosphere in a compact space. Its a holiday beach house that works.
All windows and doors have been carefully positioned to maximise cool breezes in summer months and to protect the interior from the prevailing winter winds. Outward opening timber doors are protected by large overhanging eves so they can be left open during rainy periods. Front and back deck areas are joined by an outside walkway that's great for kids to run around on, and also a handy area to dry clothes and towels. All windows are lourvered to easily control airflow. The back of the house has a small bathroom, toilet and laundry and looks out onto virgin bush. Kgari is totally private and surrounded by trees populated by an amazing variety of birds. Goannas are often seen hunting around the house and occasionally dingoes can be spotted walking through the back "garden".
