If flying into Hervey Bay you may need to spend the night. From Hervey Bay Barges depart from River Heads to Kingfisher or Wangoolba Creek.
4WD Hire & Driving Tips
For driving on K’gari it is essential to have 4WD with high clearance. When driving on the island it’s important to check your tyre pressure & travelling at low tide.
